ALWAGHT- The Yemeni government considered Iran's response against Tel Aviv to be legitimate and stressed the importance of halting Zionist atrocities in Gaza.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement asserting that Iran's retaliatory attack against the Zionist regime was legitimate and aligned with international laws and UN charters.
Sanaa highlighted in the statement that the governments backing the Zionist regime should reconsider their stance and cease their unreserved support for the regime.
The statement further noted that the mass killings carried out by the Zionist enemy against civilians in the Gaza Strip will increase regional tensions. It emphasized the importance of the United Nations Security Council fulfilling its role and responsibilities according to its charters to uphold international peace and stability.
In retaliation for the Zionist regime's terrorist attack on Tehran's consulate in Damascus, Iran carried out an extensive combined missile and drone strike on specific targets in the occupied territories last night.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) used dozens of Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 suicide drones, as well as Fattah, Sejjil, and Khorramshahr hypersonic missiles, to hit key targets in the occupied territories during the operation. The IRGC Aerospace Force launched hundreds of drones and missiles into the occupied territories in this wave of attacks.
