ALWAGHT- A Zionist media outlet reported the resignation of the head of the military intelligence department of the Israeli army due to failure in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
On Monday, an Israeli newspaper reported the resignation of Aharon Haliva, who served as the head of the military intelligence department within the Israeli army.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, Haliva's resignation was attributed to the failure on October 7th and the subsequent terrorist attack by Israeli forces on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
This marks the first instance of a high-ranking military official in Israel resigning since the commencement of the Gaza conflict.
Reacting to the news, Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition within the Zionist regime, expressed that the resignation of the head of Israel's military intelligence is both necessary and commendable, suggesting that Prime Minister Netanyahu should follow suit.
On October 7th, Gaza resistance groups initiated Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque against Zionist aggressions and incursions. During this operation, the resistance managed to penetrate into the territories of 1948. It was described by Zionists and observers as the most unprecedented anti-Israeli operation in the decades-long history of Palestine's occupation.
In response to this operation, the Israeli regime relentlessly targeted Gaza, both on the ground and from the air. This conflict has continued for 199 days, contrary to the Zionist regime's initial claim of swiftly achieving its objectives. Now, not only has it failed to achieve victory, but it has also been defeated in reaching its goals of destroying Hamas and freeing prisoners.
Despite committing atrocities against the people of Gaza, the Zionists attempted to sway public opinion by showcasing the extent of destruction and claiming entry into certain areas to portray the notion that the job is done and they are on the verge of celebrating victory.
According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the number of martyrs in Gaza since October 7th has reached 34,097, and the number of injured has reached 76,980.
