ALWAGHT- Gaza’s Health Ministry says victims remain trapped beneath the rubble as Israeli attacks and “ceasefire” violations persist across the besieged Strip.
Two Palestinians were killed and four injured in Gaza over 48 hours, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The ministry said many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded on roads as ambulance and civil defense teams struggle to reach them.
Since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, 1,285 Palestinians have reportedly been killed and 4,252 injured, while 813 bodies have been recovered from the rubble. The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,419, with 174,364 injuries.
Gaza’s Health Ministry also warned that nearly 80 million tons of rubble are hindering the recovery and identification of missing people, while contaminated water and damaged infrastructure are increasing the risk of disease outbreaks. The warnings come amid continued Israeli shelling, airstrikes, and demolitions across the Strip.
