ALWAGHT- Iran’s Army Commander-in-Chief Major General Amir Hatami has announced a financial reward for anyone who kills or captures an attacking US soldier, declaring that the era of American military presence in the Persian Gulf is over.
Iranian Army Commander-in-Chief Major General Amir Hatami has announced a new initiative funded through public donations to support the country’s armed forces and defense operations.
Under the initiative, anyone who kills or captures a US soldier and hands them over to authorities would receive 5 billion tomans, reportedly around $30,000. Hatami said women who carry out such an act would receive double the reward, while the weapon used would be purchased at twice its market value and displayed in a museum.
Hatami said Iran is rapidly rebuilding and expanding its defensive and offensive military capabilities, pointing to recent clashes with US forces in the Strait of Hormuz as evidence of these capabilities.
He warned that Iran’s adversaries have underestimated its military strength and stressed that Tehran faces no restrictions in defending its sovereignty. He also pointed to a new military and security reorganization, saying further regional escalation would only strengthen Iran’s resolve.
