ALWAGHT- As part of Tehran’s ongoing diplomatic engagements on regional issues, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate phone calls with Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister and Pakistan’s army chief to discuss recent developments.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a second phone conversation in 24 hours with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, discussing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the West Asian region.
Araghchi also spoke with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, exchanging views on issues of mutual concern, including regional developments and tensions involving Iran.
Saudi and Pakistani officials stressed the importance of regional cooperation and diplomatic solutions amid heightened Persian Gulf tensions following renewed US-Israeli actions against Iran and subsequent Iranian retaliatory strikes.
