Alwaght- Turkish armed forces have killed more than 275 members of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in November, Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday.
Based on a count by the agency, Ankara has also captured 23 members of outlawed PKK detained 19 others who turned themselves in to the authorities.
During the same period fourteen security personnel were also killed and 18 civilians lost their lives in operations against the militant group. More than 100 other people were injured.
A shaky ceasefire between Ankara and the PKK that had stood since 2013 was declared null and void in July 2015 by the militants following the Turkish strikes against the group.
Thousands of PKK militants as well as Hundreds of Turkish security forces have been killed since the collapse of the truce.
The PKK has fought intermittently for decades to establish Kurdish autonomy in Turkey, but had observed a tentative cease-fire for the past two years while its imprisoned leader, Abdullah Ocalan, negotiated a peace deal with the government.
Turkish security forces have also carried out an extensive purge among different social groups of the country accusing them of having ties with PKK that has triggered widespread criticism inside and outside the country. 560 PKK suspects were arrested, 367 of whom were taken into custody.
Among those detained were the co-chairs of the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtas and Figen Yuksekdag, the HDP Group Deputy Chairman Idris Baluken, HDP lawmakers and the co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Sebahat Tuncel.
