Alwaght- Unconfirmed media reports indicate the Al Nusra Front terrorist group’s chief has been captured by Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement fighters.
Some social media posts quoted Al Fajr website as saying that the top Al Qaeda affiliated Al Nusra front ringleader known as Abu Muhammad al Julani was captured by Hezbollah resistance fighters in the Syrian province of Aleppo.
If confirmed, the capture of Al Julani would be considered a high value detainee due to the immense atrocities committed by the al Qaeda affiliate in Syria.
Other sources claim that Hezbollah has entered in to talks with Al Nusra Front the release of the captives.
So far no officials from Syria, Lebanon, Hezbollah or al Nusra front have denied or confirmed the reports.
While the Russians and Syrians have been successful in considerably weakened ISIS terrorists, the US has protected anti-government militants who work hand in glove with terrorists of al-Nusra Front.
Syrian forces with Russian air support are the ones who have thwarted al-Nusra offensive against the Syrian city of Aleppo. The US-backed ‘militants’ in Syria are closely integrated with al-Nusra Front even though the US says its clients are targeting both it and ISIS.
