Iran and Qatar Hold Talks on Strengthening Ties

ALWAGHT- While visiting Qatar, an Iranian deputy foreign minister explored strategies to enhance cooperation between Tehran and Doha.

In a post on his X account, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, provided an update on his recent trip to Doha.

"During a one-day visit to Qatar, I met with Ms. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, the Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We discussed bilateral relations, explored ways to enhance cooperation, and addressed various mutual interests," he stated.

Gharibabadi also noted that he visited Qatar’s National Human Rights Committee, where he held talks with its president and secretary general to facilitate the exchange of experiences between the human rights institutions of both countries.
