Iran in the Middle East: Savior or Colonial – Part I

Wednesday 1 April 2015
Iran in the Middle East: Savior or Colonial – Part I

Alwaght- The Islamic Republic of Iran became a prominent state painstakingly despite the wars, sanctions and the siege imposed on it. It has been able to break the economic sanctions with its determination. It has been able to maintain its demands of its rights guaranteed by the International law. Within a very difficult period, the Islamic Republic became a state of regional influence, with an emerging strength, and the cause of the failure of the U.S. colonial projects –politically, security, military, and economic.

It is no longer a secret that this state has occupied a place competing with the major countries in the Middle East, on the level of influence and effectiveness. It became the regional state that is feared by the foe and hoped by the friend.

The "Persian State" is the first enemy with respect to some Persian Gulf States with a methodological propaganda by the West and the Zion-American Axis.

The Zion-American politics and media have depleted their provocative tools in order to ignite the differences between Iran and the Arab states, in an attempt to deviate the Arab conflict with the Zionist enemy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. Such conflict would ensure the deviation of facts, and turning the general communities and the Arabic governments toward fighting Iran – who is actually fighting the Zionist Entity and the arrogant U.S-Western policies in the region. A series of repeated accusations against the Shiite-Persian Iran include that the Islamic Republic is agitating wars, equipping for the goal of fighting the Arab states, supporting Shiite groups in Arab states, establishing a Shiite crescent, advertising for the Shiite sect, etc. Such accusations have always provoked the Arab countries and their people, rendering their deviation from fighting the true enemy – the Zionist Entity, which is the reason for all the conflicts in the Middle East region.

On one hand, there is a compromised media which distorts the facts and prepares the Arab perception to accept the Zion-American Plan. On the other hand, there is a pure malevolent investment of the sectarian disparity between the single Shiite country in the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the surrounding Sunni countries. Even history has not been spared from fraudulence and igniting of dispute and hostility. Iran, today, stands beneath all the unjust economic sanctions. The world is negotiating it over the nuclear program which was born among havoc. It was successful in showing the magnitude of the will and determination of the Iranian people. This has resulted in an effective and efficient leading role, and a presence that balanced the regional scene in the Middle East.

The Islamic Republic of Iran emerges as the strong, free and independent state; despite those who wanted to extinguish its revolutionary flame. It showed its uniqueness in its decision-making independency in a time where servitude has evaded the surrounding countries.

Is Iran colonial or savior? The Iranian role in the Middle East should be judged based on its behavior.

Everyone who steps up to confront the Zionist Entity and the colonial policies is considered a terrorist. Everyone who raises his voice against colonialism and the policies of ransacking the rights and the natural resources is an infidel and a terrorist. Everyone who calls for justice and equality, and who fights for his rights is dangerous. A revolution should coincide with the ambitions of the West and the Zion-American axis to be considered legal; otherwise, it will be considered terrorism and will receive besiegement and sanctions.

The one who stands beside the children of Gaza, and supports its men with money and weapon to help them defend themselves and their land, is considered terrorism. A terrorist is the one who embraces the Palestinians who have been scattered due to their brothers' negotiations, their cheap selling of the Palestinian issue, and conspiracy.

Rights are lost only when one gets overwhelmed with the posed Zion-American temptations such as preserving their positions. They are lost when one craves familial inheritance of power, sharing of the national wealth, and the Zion-American medallions and honors.

It is the time where the distortion of values, and the time of trading with rights. The truth became multifaceted.

In recent history, the Shiite Islamic Republic of Iran closed the Zionist Embassy upon the Islamic Revolution, and was the only one who opened a Palestinian Embassy. It has been the protector of the Palestinian resistance forces and lends a hand for everyone who needed help. The Shiite Iran became the primary adopter of the Palestinian issue who fears nothing and is preparing to assume all the consequences in the footsteps of supporting the Sunni Palestinian People and freeing the Sunni Palestinian State.

The scene continues with the support given, resistance movements multiplying with unique methodology, where the gun is directed toward freeing the occupied lands of Al-Quds from the only enemy. The victories keep coming with every drop of blood of the martyrs for the sake of AL-Quds, and the Iranian support continues for each one defending the land of Al-Quds.

With the clash with the Zionist Entity reaching sensitive and crucial stages, and with only Iran being the foster parent of the true jihadist movements, the smear campaigns accelerate in their injustice and lies. Little by little, hostility grows between Iran and those who are desperate for peace with the Zionists.

Simple judgment of the present events, what has the policies of peace with the Zionists gained the Arab states? What has the betrayal of Palestine gained the Arab states?  What has the acceptance of establishing the Zionist entity in the region gained them? How many children, elderly and youth had their blood spilled since then?

What has the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine gained? What did this methodology achieve in fighting the Zionist aggression comparably?

The answers of these questions lead us to the real issue of whether the Islamic Republic of Iran has a colonial or savior approach in the Middle East Region. The answer of this question is the second part of this article.
