ALWAGHT- In a joint statement, Iran, Russia, and Turkey condemned Zionist crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and the occupying regime's attacks on Lebanon and Syria.
During the 16th round of Astana Talks on Syrian peace on Tuesday, Iran, Russia, and Turkey issued a joint statement condemning the Zionist regime's aggressive actions in West Asia, calling them violations of international law.
The statement denounced the Zionist regime's acts of genocide in Gaza and its attacks on Lebanon and the West Bank, urging an immediate ceasefire. The three countries also condemned all military operations by the occupying regime in Syria as breaches of international law, stressing that escalating violence in West Asia negatively impacts Syria’s stability.
Additionally, Iran, Russia, and Turkey urged the UN to assist Lebanese refugees who fled to Syria due to the conflict. They emphasized the importance of continued efforts to normalize relations between Ankara and Damascus.
The three countries agreed on the need to stabilize the Idlib de-escalation zone, including measures to improve the humanitarian situation.
