ALWAGHT- The commander of the IRGC Quds Force stated that Iran will continue to support Hezbollah until Palestine and al-Quds are liberated.
Brigadier General Esmail Qaani expressed his condolences on Sunday over the assassination of Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in a Friday airstrike on southern Beirut using US-supplied bunker-buster bombs.
He stated that Nasrallah’s martyrdom brought deep sorrow to Iranians, the Islamic Resistance Front, and freedom-seekers worldwide. Qaani praised Nasrallah for dedicating his life to the fight against Islam’s enemies and ultimately sacrificing his life for Islamic values and the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon.
Qaani highlighted Nasrallah’s pivotal role in Hezbollah and in the fight against Daesh (ISIS) and Takfiri terrorists. Following Hezbollah’s announcement of Nasrallah’s martyrdom, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated that the resistance front will deliver even stronger blows to the "crumbling body" of the Zionist regime. The Leader emphasized that the foundation Nasrallah built in Lebanon would be further strengthened by his sacrifice.
