ALWAGHT- The governor of Tubas claims that Israeli occupation forces are withholding the bodies of the martyrs.
The governor of Tubas, Ahmad al-Asaad, confirmed on Wednesday that five Palestinians were killed during the Israeli occupation's aggression in the Tubas Governorate in the occupied West Bank, including four in Tamun.
Early Wednesday morning, Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale military operation in Tubas and Tamun, which included intense confrontations with Palestinian resistance fighters and drone strikes in the area.
Al-Asaad stated that the occupation forces are withholding the bodies of the five victims, who were killed by gunfire and shelling.
In response to the aggression, the Resistance targeted military vehicles with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the al-Wad area of Tubas, damaging one vehicle.
The al-Qassam Brigades in Tubas issued a statement indicating that their fighters, along with other Resistance factions, are engaged in fierce clashes with the occupation forces that have stormed the city.
Additionally, the al-Quds Brigades – Tubas Brigade confirmed that its fighters pelted Israeli military vehicles with heavy gunfire.
Meanwhile, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – Tubas reported that its fighters ambushed an Israeli force in the Wadi al-Tayasir area, using gunfire and explosives. The ambush resulted in confirmed injuries among the Israeli troops.
