ALWAGHT- The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson vehemently criticized the deadly Israeli airstrikes on two schools in central Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of displaced Palestinians seeking refuge there.
"In a post on his X account on Sunday, Nasser Kanaani stated, 'In the latest war crime committed by the Zionists in the Gaza Strip, more than 25 displaced Palestinian residents were martyred and dozens were injured during the bombing of the Al-Nasr and Hassan Salameh schools in northwest Gaza City.'
Kanaani emphasized, 'Despite the Zionists' horrifying brutality, war crimes, and genocide in Palestine, as well as cowardly assassinations across the region, the strategic balance in the Palestinian territories and the region will never favor the Zionist regime and its delusional supporters.'
He added, 'The suppressed anger in the hearts of the world's free nations will eventually engulf the criminal Zionists and their supporters.'
Reports have once again emerged of tragic scenes in Gaza City, where Israeli airstrikes targeted two schools, killing at least 30 people and injuring many others. Gaza's civil defense agency reported that on August 4, the Israeli regime bombarded the Hassan Salameh and Al-Nassr schools, which were sheltering displaced Palestinians, resulting in at least 30 fatalities.
Since October 7, Israel's war on Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 39,583 people and injuries to 91,398 others."
