ALWAGHT- The IRGC commander emphasized Iran's significant influence in supporting Muslims, cautioning the Zionist regime that it is a target for resistance forces across the region.
Major General Hossein Salami, speaking at a conference commemorating the martyrs of the IRGC Ramezan Base in Tehran on Wednesday, emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran serves as a sanctuary for Muslims worldwide.
He underscored Iran's commitment to supporting Muslims facing danger across the Islamic world, vowing to prevent their persecution by oppressors.
Salami also praised the growth of Islamic resistance, highlighting that "Today the Zionists face resistance from Yemen to Iraq and Lebanon, as seen in Iran's True Promise operation."
He described the True Promise operation, launched by Iran in April against Israeli military targets, as a demonstration of Iran's independent action and its support for fellow Muslims when needed.
In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched numerous missiles and drones against military targets in occupied territories in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike on April 1 that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.
The IRGC reported that the Iranian missiles striking Israeli targets indicated that the retaliatory operation had far exceeded expectations.
