ALWAGHT- Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, stated that hegemonic powers will never be able to hinder Iran's progress in the nuclear industry.
Speaking at an event in Isfahan, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, criticized hegemonic powers for attempting to restrict developing nations' access to advanced technologies, particularly nuclear technology.
Eslami emphasized Iran's determination to advance in nuclear science, declaring, "Iran’s nuclear technology will never be limited." He also highlighted the country’s resilience in overcoming challenges and achieving milestones, such as exporting Iranian heavy water to international markets.
He pointed out in previous remarks that Iran's heavy water is among the highest-quality globally, with only a few nations capable of producing it. Heavy water and its derivatives are utilized in Iran for research and development in various sectors, including the pharmaceutical industry.
Chemically similar to regular water, heavy water contains deuterium, a hydrogen isotope with an additional neutron in its nucleus. This property allows it to be used in processes such as converting natural uranium into plutonium.
