During his visit to Beirut on Monday, Iran's caretaker foreign minister, Ali Bagheri, met with the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Their discussion focused on the latest political and security issues in the region, particularly developments in Gaza and Lebanon.
During the meeting, Nasrallah expressed condolences to Iran for the recent helicopter crash that claimed the lives of President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage.
Nasrallah also praised the Iranian leadership, government, and people for their steadfast support of regional nations and resistance movements, maintaining strong and unwavering positions despite pressures and sanctions.
Following his one-day stay in Beirut, the caretaker foreign minister of Iran arrived in Damascus on Tuesday, where he met with Lebanon’s foreign minister and parliament speaker.
