The Zionist regime’s army issued an "immediate evacuation" order for Rafah

The Zionist regime’s army issued an "immediate evacuation" order for Rafah

ALWAGHT- The army of the Zionist regime has requested the residents of Rafah in southern Gaza to evacuate the city as quickly as possible.

"Avichay Adraee," the spokesperson for the Israeli military, announced today (Monday) that residents of certain areas in southern Gaza's Rafah are urged to evacuate the city due to "military operations" and relocate to Khan Yunis.

Adraee cautioned against returning to northern Gaza or approaching the security barrier in the east and south, advising instead to head north via the "Gaza Valley," emphasizing that Gaza remains a "war zone" and that the announcement is issued for their safety.

The Israeli military spokesperson stressed that residents and citizens in Al Shoka Municipality and the neighborhoods of Al Salam, Al Geneina, Tabet Ziraa, and Al Byouk in Rafah are the intended recipients of this announcement.

The immediate evacuation directive for Rafah, prompted by the impending attack from southern Gaza, coincides with warnings from the United Nations and other nations regarding the ramifications of the occupying army's ground assault on Rafah, which has displaced over a million people.

Last Friday, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs issued a cautionary statement, stating that any military action by the occupying regime in Rafah "poses the risk of a catastrophic mass slaughter" in the region and could impede the distribution of humanitarian aid across Gaza.

During a press briefing in Geneva, Jens Laerke, the spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, emphasized: "Any ground offensive will worsen the already dire situation and result in the slaughter of civilians, including the 1.2 million displaced Palestinians in southern Gaza's Rafah area."
