ALWAGHT- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has provided additional details after carrying out a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli facilities in the occupied territories.
The attacks, which commenced Saturday night in retaliation for Israel's strike on Iran's embassy in Damascus on April 1, targeted several military locations across the occupied Palestinian territories.
Reports indicate that 50% of the missiles fired so far have successfully struck their intended targets.
In its official statement, the IRGC emphasized the necessity of these aggressive measures due to the UN's unwillingness to condemn Israel's attack on Iran’s diplomatic compound and the regime's previous acts of aggression.
The IRGC's statement
"After over 10 days of silence and inaction by international bodies, particularly the United Nations Security Council, in condemning the Zionist regime's attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus—considered part of our nation's territory—and the deaths of seven legal military advisors, without penalizing the criminal regime as per Article 7 of the UN Charter, the IRGC, in response to these crimes and in fulfillment of previous warnings to safeguard Iran's rights and punish the aggressors, utilized its strategic intelligence, missile, and drone capabilities to successfully hit and destroy key military targets of the Zionist terrorist army in the occupied territories."

The IRGC issues a caution to the American government, stating that any involvement in targeting Iran's interests will prompt a forceful and regrettable response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The United States is held accountable for the violent actions of the Zionist regime, and if Israel is not restrained, the US must accept the repercussions for the actions of the regime in the region.
The IRGC emphasizes its commitment to maintaining good relations with neighboring and regional countries. Any threats from the US or the Zionist regime originating from these countries will be met with an equivalent response from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The IRGC assures the courageous people of Iran that they, alongside the country's other armed forces, will defend national interests and thwart the efforts of enemies attempting to undermine the security and peace of the people.
