Alwaght- Senior Hezbollah Official Sheikh Naim Qassem says that if Israeli regime commits a foolishness and wages a war against Lebanon, Hezbollah will unleash a power stronger and more advanced than that of 33-day war in 2006.
"In case of any foolishness and aggression on Lebanese territory, the advanced version of the 33-day war will be repeated and another disgraceful defeat will be added to your defeats and another victory to our victories... Stop the war against Gaza , so that the region calms down", he addressed the conference of International Union of Resistance Scholars.
He further said: "We gather to raise our voice for the right against the wrong and to support the honorable resistance against arrogance and clarify our position in front of this confrontation and sinful aggression that has reached the border of genocide."
He said that he was confident that the resistance will defeat the Israeli occupation.
"We are confident that all these sufferings and challenges, accompanied by legendary steadfastness, will lead to victory. [Operation] Al-Aqsa Storm is the legitimate right of the Palestinians and there is no question about its legitimacy, they are facing an occupation that has lasted for 75 years and this occupation will end only by resistance," he told the attendees.
He also pointed to the weakness and shaky foundation the Israeli regime is on, saying that Tel Aviv is propped up by the US.
"If it wasn't for the American military support to Israel in the Gaza war, Israel could not have continued this aggression for more than a few days," he noted.
He went on saying that the resistance camp will not allow the enemies to implement their plans. "We urge all to move in this direction. Palestine is from the river to the sea and the Palestinians can establish their complete state in the whole Palestine territory. The Palestinian resistance and us accept no conclusion less than this."
He also referred to the level of readiness of Hezbollah, saying that the Lebanese resistance movement is at the highest degree of readiness to confront any Israeli aggression.
