Iran’s Supreme Leader Slams US, Europe for Hosting Anti-Iran Terrorists

Iran’s Supreme Leader Slams US, Europe for Hosting Anti-Iran Terrorists
Alwaght-Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said terrorists who carried out the attack against high ranking Iranian politicians 34 years ago are walking scot free in Europe and the US.

In an address to the families of Iranian June 28 martyrs in Tehran on Saturday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution pointed out that "Those who want to cover up the evil enmity of the US and some of its followers through media and propaganda ploys are in fact betraying the nation and state."

Ayatollah Khamenei  stated that after the 28 June 1981 terror attack,  ‘the real face of direct culprits of this monstrous crime was  uncovered’, adding that after a while the same terrorists defected to Saddam and joined his war against the Iranian and Iraqi nations.

"The same people who committed the June 28 crime, are now freely active in Europe and US and are even granted audience with state officials in those countries to discuss human rights issues."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution also noted that the shooting down of an Iranian civilian passenger plane (over Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf) in 1988 was one of the US acts of terror against Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the necessity to indentify the enemy and said: "Through foresight, insight and awareness of the extent of the enemy's hostility, the Iranian nation should be prepared to confront and counter enemy plots  in the soft-war realms, such as in cultural, political and social spheres."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution pointed out that the Iranian nation is indebted to martyrs and their families and those who deny this fact, are strangers to the nations' interests even if they hold Iranian national identity documents.
