Alwaght- Ismail Haniyah, leader of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said on Tuesday that a solid alliance is being established in West Asia (Middle East) to confront malicious US policies.
Addressing a press conference in the besieged Gaza Strip, Haniyah added that such an alliance would not be isolated, but open to all sides for al-Quds (Jerusalem) battle noting that it requires everyone’s efforts.
Haniyah rebuked US Vice President Mike Pence’s statements about moving the US embassy to al-Quds saying it is as aimed at eradicating the Palestinian cause.
He stressed that the intifada (uprising) and popular support in addition to support by Muslim masses are main bases to confront the US policy.
Haniyah also underscored that the Palestinian resistance will use specific strategies in order to free Palestinian prisoners held at Israeli regime jails, adding that who thinks that the Palestinian people have been weakened is mistaken.
