ALWAGHT- Yemen’s Armed Forces declare a “blockade for blockade” policy, targeting Saudi military buildups while vowing to defend Yemen’s sovereignty amid warnings of further escalation.
Yemen’s Armed Forces announced three military “equations” in response to what Sanaa describes as Saudi escalation: “blockade for blockade,” targeting Saudi military buildups, and defending Yemen’s sovereignty against territorial violations.
The forces said they have targeted eight Saudi oil vessels since July 20 and prevented dozens of others from passing through regional waters. They also reported nine operations against targets in areas including Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, Abha, and Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
Sanaa warned that any further comprehensive Saudi escalation would receive a corresponding response, while calling on Riyadh to lift the blockade and implement previous agreements. The statement also claimed that hundreds of Saudi personnel, including commanders and officers, had been killed or wounded.
