Alwaght-The Islamic Republic of Iran, contrary to Arab states, has paid a high price due to its policies of confronting the Israeli regime and supporting resistance movements in the region.
Iran supports regional resistance movements based on Islamic teachings calling on the support of other Muslims and oppressed masses.
While the Israeli regime has no common border with Iran nor does it possess the capability of endangering it, since the victory of the revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been at the frontline confronting the Tel Aviv regime. Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution has declared openly that the country will assist any country or group confronting Israel.
Iran's strategic and stabilizing policy is based on the destruction of the Israeli regime since Tehran believes the region's problems stem from the presence of the regime. On the other hand, some Arab regimes claiming to defend Arab and Islamic rights not only are not opposed Israel's existence but also according to reliable sources, have offered support to the Tel Aviv regime.
Iran, Israel's Security Dilemma
The Israeli regime is faced with a security dilemma in the face of Iran's unflinching support of Arab and Islamic rights. Several high ranking officials of the Israeli regime have admitted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the greatest existential threat for the regime. This is while Tel Aviv does not have the same opinion on Arab regimes such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt etc. but actually considers them as allies in confronting Iran.
After the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran and after the year 2000, the Israeli regime has never attained victory in any war. This is because Shiite and Sunni Muslims in the region, by relying on Iran, have been able to pose great challenges to the Israeli regime. At the height of its brazen arrogance, the Israeli regime was bragging about the 'Greater Middle East' and controlling a wide region from River Nile to Euphrates River in Iraq but now the regime has retreated to a defensive position with its main concern being providing security for Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Arab rulers living in lofty palaces away from the reality should answer questions posed by their masses as to why Israel is scared stiff of Iran?
Why have Arab rulers decided to publicly declare their hitherto secret and covert ties with the Israeli regime at a time when the regime is facing its worst state in terms of existence and security? Why are some Arab regimes supporting terrorism to guarantee the continued existence of the Israeli regime?
Israel, the Loser in Syria Truce
Amos Yadlin, Israeli regime's former Military Intelligence chief has been arguing that Tel Aviv and the US need to intervene in Syria more actively with a policy that leads to the defeat of the axis of resistance in Syria and the weakening of Iran and Hezbollah. The Israeli official adds that, 'It is bad for Iran and Hezbollah to be stronger in Syria."
Reacting to the recent Syria ceasefire agreement brokered by Russia and the US, the Israeli daily Maariv wrote that it can never be in the interest of Israel pointing out that the winners in the truce are Syrian president Bashar al Assad, Iran and Hezbollah. The paper also blamed US President Barack Obama for selling out Kurds while pledging allegiance to Takfiri groups and that the Syrian president remains the winner in the latest truce.
Other Israeli media outlets have also stated that Russia is the winner in the US, Russia brokered truce in Syria and that the decision by Turkey and the US to stop pursuing the ouster of Syrian President Assad.
Commentators in Israeli media believe that the Israeli regime should be worried following the implementation of the Syria ceasefire.
Last Friday in Geneva, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, reached an agreement on the truce in Syria. . The agreement seeks to revive the failed February ceasefire beginning on Monday in order to ensure humanitarian access to civilian populations suffering from violence. It also calls for the launch of military coordination between Russian and American forces operating in Syria.
While Iran has welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Syria aimed at putting an end to more than five years of bloody conflict in the Arab country, Saudi Arabia and Israeli regime view the truce as a failure of their stated objective of overthrow of the legitimate government in Damascus.
