Ten Iranian Border Guards Killed in Ambush by Pakistan-Based Terrorists

Alwaght- Terrorists have killed at least ten Iranian border guards in an ambush as they were patrolling on the frontier with Pakistan on Wednesday.

The Pakistan-based Jaish al Adl terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.

"10 border guards of Mirjaveh county in Sistan and Baluchestan Province were martyred in an ambush by the terrorists in the Pakistani border's zero-point," Tasnim news agency reported.

According to the Iranian news agency, three police officers and seven soldiers were among those killed in the cross-border attack.

In a statement carried on state media, the Iranian police said the guards have been killed by long-range guns and "the Pakistani government bears the ultimate responsibility of the attack."

Jaish al Adl is a terrorist group that was founded in 2012 by members of Jundallah, a terrorist group that had been destroyed after Islamic Republic of Iran detained and executed its leader, Abdul Malik Rigi, in 2010.
