Is US Democrat Administration Managing US Elections?

Election Day is near.

The week preceding US Election Day has been hectic with news. But is this all part of a campaign in favour of Clinton?

Alwaght- Election Day is by no means an ordinary day. It is a day that comes once every four years in the United States and a day when the nation’s political future is charted. As always, it comes down to the two prevalent parties, the Republicans and the Democrats.

The current government is Democrat so it is reasonable to say that it prefers Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton over Republican Donald Trump. It seems this preference has affected its announcement of news.

Just two days before Election Day, FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers on Sunday the agency hasn't changed its opinion that Hillary Clinton should not face criminal charges after a review of new emails.

This means that Clinton has been cleared again.

Many believe this dismissal of criminality will affect public opinion and therefore votes. Observers say it is a deliberate move by the Democrat administration that aims to bury the controversy surrounding Clinton’s activities and sway voters to her side.

Another bombshell was dropped in the days leading up to the much-anticipated election. Also on Sunday, the US announced operations against ISIS' de facto capital in Raqqa, Syria.

A statement issued by a US-backed alliance of Syrian armed groups said the campaign, called Euphrates Anger, started late on Saturday in a bid to retake the northern city of Raqqa.

Meanwhile, Washington continues to claim that it is supporting the Iraqi army in its endeavour to liberate the terrorist group’s last stronghold in the country.

Media outlets have reported that American Special Forces have been spotted on the frontline alongside Iraqi army and Kurdish militia in Mosul.

Also in the week preceding the presidential election, the US Army announced it will be deploying 1,700 “highly trained” paratroopers to Iraq, from a military base in North Carolina, for “training, advising, and assisting” purposes. The soldiers will join the American military intervention against ISIS both in Iraq and Syria.

The timing of these announcements seems to be deliberate.

The last week before the finally tally is usually rife with political tensions. Candidates slam each other and accuse each other of criminal activities, leaving the American public hanging in the air and ultimately believing they should vote for whom they think is the lesser of the two evils in many cases.

“With polls showing a tightening contest following the unprecedented intervention of the FBI, whose announcement of a renewed probe of Clinton emails was calculated to damage the Clinton campaign, it is increasingly likely that the contest could be determined by the outcome in a single state, such as occurred in 2000 with Florida and in 2004 with Ohio,” journalist Patrick Martin wrote.

Analysts say that postponing these news stories to the final week before Election Day is meant to function as a propaganda method. Instilling the notion of a cleared Democrat candidate as well as portraying the image of an all-American hero, some say, is part of a campaign to direct American public opinion in favor of Clinton.
