ALWAGHT- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson dismissed a New York Times report claiming that Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations had met with Elon Musk, the world’s richest person and a close associate of US President-elect Donald Trump, in New York.
In remarks on Saturday, Esmaeil Baqaei strongly refuted media reports alleging a meeting between Saeed Iravani and Elon Musk in New York.
He expressed astonishment at the level of speculation being propagated by American media regarding the matter.
The New York Times had reported on November 14 that the alleged meeting took place at a secret location in New York, citing Iranian sources who claimed the discussion lasted over an hour.
