Iraqi Resistance Group Pledges Retaliation Against Israel Following Terrorist Attack in Lebanon

ALWAGHT- An Iraqi resistance group has pledged to strike Israeli settlements across the occupied Palestinian territories in response to a terrorist cyberattack on Lebanon, which resulted in at least eleven deaths and nearly 3,000 injuries.

On Wednesday, Akram al-Kaabi, the secretary general of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, announced that the Iraqi resistance is ready to use advanced weapons, including missiles and drones, in retaliation against the Israeli regime. He condemned the recent Israeli aggression as a criminal act and stressed that such attacks will only fortify the resistance's determination.

The Nujaba movement, part of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), also expressed its full support for Hezbollah in Lebanon in their fight against "the Zionists, Americans, and their allies." The explosions on Tuesday, which involved wireless communication devices known as pagers, resulted in nearly 3,000 injuries in Lebanon, affecting both Hezbollah members and civilians.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the blasts were likely caused by a remote cyberattack orchestrated by Israel amid escalating regional tensions. The attack has been widely condemned, with Palestinian resistance groups and Yemen’s Ansarullah denouncing it.

Since October, Israel has been engaged in frequent clashes with Hezbollah following its devastating military campaign in Gaza. Experts believe these recent attacks indicate Israel's growing desperation after facing military setbacks, potentially accelerating its downfall. Over the past 11 months, more than 41,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in Gaza.
