ALWAGHT- The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia discussed plans to strengthen cooperation across various sectors.
In a phone conversation on Sunday, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud congratulated his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on assuming office.
The two diplomats discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations and regional issues. They agreed that relations between their countries are on the right track and emphasized the need to enhance and expand cooperation in various areas.
Addressing the ongoing crimes by the Zionist regime in Gaza and the rising tensions in the region, they highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to halt these crimes and to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Araghchi and bin Farhan also emphasized the importance of continuing consultations between their countries, considering it beneficial for both nations and the broader region.
