Leader Commends Iran’s Olympic Athletes

ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, praised the Iranian athletes who participated in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

On Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei reviewed a report from the president of the National Olympic Committee of Iran concerning the recent Olympic Games. In the margins of the report, the Leader expressed his gratitude to the Iranian athletes and their coaches.

“I sincerely thank the dedicated athletes, the heads of federations, coaches, and the National Olympic Committee for bringing joy and pride to the country through their achievements in sports,” Ayatollah Khamenei stated.

Iran achieved 21st place out of over 200 nations, with its Olympic team securing 3 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze medals in wrestling and taekwondo in Paris.
