ALWAGHT- A minister in Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet made a surprising admission, exposing the hidden agenda behind the regime's settlement policy. This comes despite a UN Security Council resolution deeming these settlements illegal and prohibiting their construction.
According to the report, Batsheva Smotrich, the Minister of Finance in the Zionist government, openly stated, "The Evyatar settlement and other Israeli settlements represent the initial step in neutralizing the concept of a Palestinian state."
Two days after the Zionist government's decision to establish the Evyatar settlement, Smotrich visited Evyatar alongside Yossi Dagan, head of the Council of Settlements in Occupied West Bank of Palestine, and members of the National Action Movement, Daniella Weiss and Tzvi Elimelech Sherbow.
The Minister of Finance emphasized, " Evyatar is more than just a collection of houses; it embodies an idea."
Despite a United Nations Security Council statement on February 20, 2023, condemning the Zionist government's expansion plans for settlements in occupied Palestinian territories, Israel's actions persist in defiance of the council's resolution and opposition from the United States.
