ALWAGHT- A group of commanders of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, this afternoon (Sunday).
Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, convened with a group of high-ranking armed forces commanders this Sunday afternoon. He expressed sincere appreciation for their dedicated efforts and recent accomplishments, highlighting how, by the grace of the divine, the armed forces have showcased both their capabilities and the admirable qualities of the Iranian nation, demonstrating the emergence of the Iranian people's strong will on the global stage.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, while extending congratulations on Army Day and the anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasized that the recent achievements of the armed forces have fostered a sense of pride and magnificence for Islamic Iran among international observers. He underscored that while the adversary may focus on metrics such as the number of missiles fired or those hitting targets, the primary issue lies in demonstrating the power of the Iranian people's will and the armed forces on the international stage, causing discomfort to the opponent.
The Supreme Leader also commended the armed forces for their wise actions, stating that while various events incur costs and gains, the key is to minimize costs and maximize gains through far-sightedness. He noted that the armed forces have effectively accomplished this in recent events.
Ayatollah Khamenei, while commending the dedication and activities of the Revolutionary Guards, the army, and the law enforcement forces, encouraged the armed forces to persist in their efforts and actions against adversaries, stressing the importance of innovation and initiative. He underscored, "We must never pause, for halting implies regression. Therefore, fostering innovation in weaponry and strategies, along with comprehending the enemy's tactics, should remain paramount."
Emphasizing the significance of Iran's dignity on the global stage, he further remarked, "While identifying talented and resourceful individuals, maintain steadfast faith and rely on the Almighty, as the Almighty’s pledge to defend the believers is unwavering and absolute."
The Supreme Leader also conveyed special appreciation to the families of commanders and personnel across the army, the Revolutionary Guards, and law enforcement agencies, acknowledging, "The primary weight of sacrifices rests on the shoulders of the spouses and children of our armed forces, enduring hardships."
During the gathering, Major General Baqeri, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, presented an overview of significant developments during the year 1402 (Iranian Calendar) and the early weeks of 1403 (Iranian Calendar), including operations such as "Operation Al-Aqsa Storm" and "Operation True Promise," which targeted the Zionist regime, outlining the latest readiness and capabilities of the armed forces.
