Iran’s Pres. Hails Nuclear Industry as Role Model for Other Industries

Alwaght- Iran's President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi said that the nuclear industry presents an example for other industries in terms of development. 

He made the comments during his visit of nuclear achievements exhibit held in Tehran. 

“The achievements of the nuclear industry show the fact that how dear young people and scientists of this country turned threats and sanctions into opportunities, and the establishment of this exhibition is a message from the country's nuclear industry to other industries, that how can it be possible despite the highest volume of sanctions. The success of the nuclear industry despite the sanctions presents an example for other industries.” he held. 

President Raisi pointed to the influence of the nuclear energy in the life of people, especially in health, agriculture, industry, adding that “with the resolution of our scientists in turning the knowledge into capability, today millions have escaped disease, which is a source of national pride.” 

Suggesting that the nuclear energy has produced strength for the country, the president think that the power and strength is in producing nuclear arms, but the Islamic Republic has repeatedly announced that with regard to the religious beliefs and emphasis of the Supreme Leader, “we will never go to producing nuclear arms.” 

He called for enlightenment for the people about the nuclear achievements of the country, adding: “We have to copy the achievements we made in the nuclear industry to develop other industries, especially the auto industry.” 

He further thanked the Leader for visiting the exhibit and stressing the significance of nuclear energy, as he did thank the nuclear scientists that scored these “great honors.”
