Palestine Condemns Israelis’ Attack on a Greek Orthodox Chapel in Al-Quds

Alwaght- Palestine's foreign ministry condemned extremist Israeli settlers'  "barbaric attack" on the Greek Orthodox Chapel in occupied al-Quds.

Radical Israeli's trespassed into the Greek Garden on Mt Zion in Jerusalem, property of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, tampered with the property, exhumed graves and threw rubbish in the courtyards, in an attack that is both provocative and systematic attack on churches.

The Palestinian ministry condemned on Tuesday the continuous provocative attack on churches and their properties, slamming these attacks as an integral part of the occupation’s plans to deepen the annexation and Judaization of al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian holy sites, Wafa news agency reported.

The ministry held the Israeli regime fully and directly responsible for this attack and other flagrant violations of international law and the signed agreements, in an attempt to change the existing historical and legal status quo of al-Quds and its holy places.

It called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to quickly activate the system of international protection for the Palestinian people in general and for al-Quds and its holy sites in particular.

It further called on the international community to promptly move and pressure the Israeli regime to disband the Jewish terrorist organizations, impose deterrent sanctions on them, and place them on the list of terrorist organizations.
