According to Al Manar TV, the Friday morning offensive operation took place in Khirbet Hamam region where ISIS operatives were plotting to launch an attack on Baalbek barrens.
The Islamic Resistance eliminated ISIS leader, Abu Aisha Al-Libi, as well as 6 other terrorists, including Abu Ekrema Al-Zohouri and Ahmad Abdul-Mohsen.
Hezbollah also destroyed two ISIS military vehicles, leaving their crew killed and wounded.
Friday's attack is one of the several major attacks of the "Arsal military campaign" declared by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrullah to wipe ISIS terrorists operating in east Lebanon off the region.
Terrorists have lost more than 90 percent of the land they previously controlled in Qalamoun as a result of the two-month operation by Hezbollah and the Syrian army. The mountainous region, which straddles the Lebanese-Syrian border, was previously used by terrorists for transferring weapons and ammunition into Syria, where they have been involved in terrorist activities. ISIS terrorists control areas north of Arsal, a city which is controlled by the Lebanese army.
