Alwaght- US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has become increasingly angry after the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) cleared Hilary Clinton in the case of her controversial emails.
Through a letter to the US Congress on Sunday, FBI Director, James Comey declared that based on their renewed investigations, no need was established to prosecute Hilary Clinton.
The Bureau had renewed its previous investigations on Hilary Clinton’s use of private email when she served as the US Minister of State.
Comey had closed previous round saying he saw no foundation to recommend any charges against democrat candidate but after surfacing of some new emails, FBI declared it is reopening the investigation.
In his letter to the congress, Comey declared that new evidence has not changed the situation and he still sees no base to recommend any crimes.
"The FBI investigative team has been working around the clock to process and review a large volume of emails from a device obtained in connection with an unrelated criminal investigation," Comey wrote in the letter. "During that process, we reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state."
"I am very grateful to the professionals at the FBI for doing an extraordinary amount of high-quality work in a short period of time," Comey added.
Hours after the cleared Clinton, her rival Donald Trump alleged that Hillary Clinton was “being protected by a rigged system”.
“Right now she is being protected by a rigged system. It’s a totally rigged system,” the Republican presidential nominee said at a rally in Minnesota. “I’ve been saying it for a long time.”
While the Clinton campaign welcomed the decision, saying, "We are glad the matter is resolved," Trump cast doubt on the FBI director’s methods.
“You can’t review 650,000 new emails in eight days,” Trump claimed. “You can’t do it, folks. Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it, the FBI knows it, the people know it.”
