ISIS Terrorists in Syria Behead Football Players, Coach

Alwaght- ISIS Takfiri terrorsits in Syria have killed three football players and a coach from al-Shabab club in Raqqa.

According to Syria news agency SANA, the Takfiri terrorists beheaded 5 persons, among them players Osama Abu Kuwait, Nihad al-Hussein, Ihssan al-Shawakh and his brother, coach Ahmad al-Shawakh at dawar al-Dalah in Raqqa in front of the elders and children.

In a statement to SANA, Head of the General Sports Union Muafak Joma’a condemned this heinous crime, saying it is not strange that ISIS commits this crime as this is a behavior adopted by this terrorist organizations. Raqqa was occupied by ISIS in 2013 and became the de facto capital of the terrorists in Syria in 2014.

ISIS terrorists, who were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, have been controlling large parts of Iraq, Syria and Libya but over the recent weeks the terrorists have lost much of their territories following intensified operations by national armies of the three countries.

ISIS Terrorists have been carrying out horrific acts of violence such as public decapitations and crucifixions against all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Izadi Kurds, and Christians, in the areas under their control.

Since March 2011, the US and its regional allies, in particular Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, have been supporting terrorists groups including ISIS in Syria in a bid to oust the legitimate government of President Bashar al Assad.

According to a February report by the Syrian Center for Policy Research, the years-long conflict has claimed the lives of some 470,000 people, injured 1.9 million others, and displaced nearly half of the country’s pre-war population of about 23 million within or beyond its borders.
