Qatar will not allow its territory or airspace to be used for attacks on regional countries

ALWAGHT- Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the country will never permit Al Udeid Air Base, which hosts American, British, and Qatari forces, to be used for launching attacks on regional or other nations.

Mohammed bin Abdulrahman did not specify any countries, but previously, Qatar and Kuwait expressed their opposition to any US use of their territory or airspace against Iran.

The Qatari minister also condemned the ongoing actions of the Israeli regime in Gaza and Lebanon, asserting that Doha remains committed to ending the war in Gaza and preventing the loss of innocent lives. He highlighted that Qatar's priority in Lebanon is to halt the conflict, noting extensive discussions with Lebanese politicians on the matter, while accusing the Israeli regime of obstructing efforts to achieve peace.

Qatar has emphasized its neutrality and desire to avoid regional conflicts. In his annual address to the Shura Council on Tuesday, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani accused Israel of deliberately escalating its military actions in the West Bank and Lebanon. He mentioned his recent meeting with Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, stating that while Iran does not seek war, it will respond decisively to any Israeli provocations.

American military aircraft are stationed at both Ali Al Salem Air Base and Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, as well as at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which is the largest US air base in West Asia.
