ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated that the resistance front and the Lebanese people will soon celebrate the downfall of Zionism.
During a weekly press conference on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of Hezbollah's Secretary General, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, on September 27.
Kanaani emphasized that while Nasrallah is no longer alive, his ideology and beliefs remain strong. He asserted that the resistance front and the Lebanese people would soon celebrate the demise of Zionism and the liberation of holy al-Quds.
He further stated that the Zionist regime cannot gain anything from its brutal crimes and that these atrocities will not compensate for its irreversible defeat. Kanaani also criticized the United States, a key supporter of Israel, saying it too would fail to recover from its setbacks in the region.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a statement following Nasrallah's martyrdom, noting that the resistance front's blows against the weakened Zionist regime would only intensify.
Khamenei added that Israel has not achieved victory through this crime, emphasizing that Nasrallah was more than an individual—he represented a path and a movement, which will continue to thrive.
