ALWAGHT- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that the Israeli assassination of Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with its broader campaign of terror against resistance commanders, highlights the desperation of the Zionist regime.
In a parliamentary meeting on Sunday, Qalibaf expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the brave and wise leader of the resistance front, comparing it to the loss of Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, which deeply saddened Muslims worldwide.
He stated that the Zionist regime, facing significant defeats, now finds its very existence in jeopardy. As a result, Israel has turned to tactics of terror and psychological warfare in a desperate attempt to compensate for its strategic failures.
Qalibaf explained that after failing to achieve its goals on the battlefield, Israel has initiated a "complicated hybrid war," aiming to assassinate resistance leaders in an effort to transform its defeat into a victory.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime leader of Hezbollah, was martyred in a massive Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern Dahiyeh district on Friday, with bunker-buster bombs targeting residential buildings in the Haret Hreik neighborhood.
