ALWAGHT- Iran’s embassy in Lebanon has refuted rumors claiming that Iranian envoy to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, has lost his sight following the pager explosions in the country on Tuesday.
In a statement on its official X account, the Iranian embassy in Lebanon dismissed rumors about Iranian envoy Mojtaba Amani’s health and vision, calling them unsubstantiated. The embassy assured that Amani is receiving excellent medical care.
Despite the pager explosions that have resulted in at least nine deaths and nearly 2,800 injuries across Lebanon and Syria, Hezbollah has vowed to continue its “blessed operations in support of Gaza, its people, and its resistance.” The Lebanese resistance group holds the Israeli regime “fully responsible” for the attacks, which have left at least 200 people in critical condition.
There have been reports suggesting that Iran’s ambassador to Beirut was injured when a pager belonging to his bodyguard exploded nearby.
