ALWAGHT- The governor of Iran’s province stated that Chabahar Port has become a “petrochemical hub” due to its strategic location for exporting petrochemical products.
During a visit to the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines in the southeastern province on Sunday, Mohammad Karami commented on Chabahar Port's transformation into a "petrochemical hub" due to its strategic location for exporting petrochemical products. While he did not specify the volume of exports, he emphasized the port's growing significance.
Karami also announced an agreement to construct Iran’s largest copper factory in Chabahar, although he did not provide further details. He mentioned ongoing efforts to boost trade from Sistan-and-Baluchestan province and highlighted continuous communication with neighboring countries to facilitate and maintain border trade.
