ALWAGHT- According to the latest findings by the American news agency "Associated Press," attacks by the Israeli regime on the Gaza Strip have completely wiped out some Palestinian families, with up to four generations of certain families lost.
The American news agency "Associated Press" reported that unprecedented attacks by the Israeli regime on the Gaza Strip have led to the complete destruction of some families.
The report states that between October and December 2023, at least 25 members from each of 60 Palestinian families were killed, making this three-month period the bloodiest phase of a war now in its ninth month.
The report's findings reveal that in some instances, there are no surviving family members left to record the number of those killed. Furthermore, thousands of families cannot provide an accurate count of their deceased because many victims remain buried under the rubble.
An investigation by the Associated Press reveals that the Israeli regime's fighter jets predominantly targeted residential buildings, homes, and shelters where families, including parents, children, and grandparents, had gathered for safety. There were no clear military targets or direct warnings given to those inside. One family alone has lost at least 270 members.
Commenting on the impact of these figures on Palestine's future, the news agency noted, "The deaths of several Palestinian families will have lasting effects on future generations."
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, the war has resulted in 37,347 fatalities and 85,372 injuries so far. More than 70 percent of the casualties are women and children. Over 10,000 people remain missing and are presumed to be buried under the rubble.
