A report on the Eid al-Adha prayer attended by 40,000 Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque

A report on the Eid al-Adha prayer attended by 40,000 Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque

ALWAGHT- 40,000 Palestinians performed the Eid al-Adha prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque today (Sunday).

The report mentions that at the same time, Israeli forces assaulted Palestinian worshippers traveling to and from Al-Aqsa Mosque, preventing numerous individuals from entering to observe the Eid prayer.

Ismail Al-Khatib, a member of the Palestinian National and Islamic Forces, stated, "This is occupation; Jerusalem is under occupation, which is why residents of Jerusalem are being hindered from performing religious rituals at Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is not a new strategy, and the adversary aims to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from Jerusalem."

Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, the director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, also conveyed, "This year's Eid observances have been restricted to religious rituals, the Eid prayer, and the chanting of Allahu Akbar and La ilaha illallah, due to the Zionist regime's atrocities against Gaza's children and women, and the destruction of their homes. We implore Almighty God to alleviate the suffering and anguish of Gaza's inhabitants."

The Zionist adversary has imposed substantial financial penalties on individuals offering sacrifices in an effort to hinder the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
