Alwaght- The provincial office of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps’ Ground Forces in Sistan and Baluchestan has announced that normalcy has been restored to the cities of the southeastern province after eliminating all 18 terrorists.

In a statement on Thursday, the IRGC reported that several terrorists and armed miscreants affiliated with foreign spy services simultaneously attacked five military and public sites in Rask and Chabahar counties during the early hours of the day, with the intention of disrupting the security of the people. However, their plans were thwarted by the wisdom, patience, and intelligence of the security forces.

The statement further revealed that all 18 terrorists were killed, and unfortunately, 10 members of the security forces were martyred, while some others sustained injuries.

In a warning the IRGC has told regional and trans-regional enemies, terrorist groups, and armed individuals hired by spy services that Iran’s national security and the people’s peace in every part of the country are red lines, adding that security forces will respond decisively to any threatening elements.

Meanwhile, Majid Mirahmadi, the Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Police Affairs, confirmed that security forces in the province have also apprehended two individuals who were supporting the terrorist forces.
