Alwaght- The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF), Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced Tuesday that the YAF Navy targeted the American oil tanker MADO in the Red Sea using "appropriate" naval missiles.
"Our forces fired several cruise missiles at Israeli targets in the Umm al-Rashrash region in southern occupied Palestine," Saree added.
He reiterated that these operations come in support of the Palestinian people, who are still facing Israeli aggression and siege, and in response to the US and British aggression on Yemen, according to Al-Mayadeen.
Saree made once again clear that the YAF's military operations will not cease until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stops and the blockade imposed on the Palestinian people in the Strip is lifted.
Yemeni operations have so far forced some companies to take alternative routes including a two-week detour around the tip of southern Africa.
Yemen reitered that it only target clear and specific objectives to confront the Israeli enemy. However, they expanded their targets to include American and British forces following their involvement in aggression against Yemen, stressing that no other countries are being targeted.
In a dramatic development, YAF said last week it will expand it operations against the Israeli ships to the Indian Ocean.
