Alwaght- An illegal military facility housing US occupation forces in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr has come under a rocket attack from nearby areas amid growing anti-US sentiments over Washington’s support for the Israeli onslaught on Gaza, Iran's Press TV reported.
Lebanon’s Arabic-language al-Mayadeen television news network, citing local sources, reported that several explosions were heard in the area close to the US-controlled al-Omar oil field on Thursday evening after several projectiles struck the site.
There were no immediate reports about possible casualties or the extent of damage at the installation.
