Alwaght- Israeli regime's ruthless bombardment of Gaza has forced at least one million people in besieged Gaza strip to flee their homes in just one week, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said late Sunday.
“At least 1 million people were forced to flee their homes in one week alone. A river of people continues to flow south,” said UNRWA, adding “no place is safe in Gaza.”
At least 2,670 Palestinians have been killed and more than 9,600 others injured in Israeli regime's attacks on Gaza since Oct. 7, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The Israeli occupation army is also preparing to launch a large-scale ground offensive in Gaza after forcing its millions-strong population to relocate south.
Home to 2.2 million people, the Gaza Strip has been under an all-out blockade since 2006.
