Will Shireen Abu Akleh’s Murder Mark Turning Point in Liberation of Palestine?

Alwaght- Israeli regime forces fatally shot a Palestinian teenager during a raid on Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

"A 17-year-old boy was killed and an 18-year-old was critically wounded by the Israeli occupation's bullets during its aggression on Jenin," , the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According To Palestinian News Agency Wafa, Israeli regime forces stormed Haifa Street in Jenin sparking confrontations with residents during which Israeli soldiers fired live bullets at the Palestinians killing "Amjad al-Fayed" and injuring another, who was reported in critical condition at a local hospital.

Palestinian prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh condemned Fayed's killing, stressing in remarks relayed by Wafa that "the international community should hold Israel accountable for its acts".

Israeli regime's raids on Jenin often have been violent and deadly. On May 11, the occupying regime's forces shot dead journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian-American, while she was covering an Israeli raid near the Jenin refugee camp.
