Syrian Forces Establish Control in More  Areas As Many Terrorists Killed

Alwaght- Syrian forces on Friday continued it mission in combating terrorism establishing control over new villages, killing big numbers of terrorists and destroying their equipment  all over the country.
According to Syrian official news agency, SANA, the country's air force carried out a series of airstrikes on ISIS positions in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Homs province.
The Syrian Air Force destroyed ISIS hideouts in the town of Mahin and al-Qaryatain city 85km southeast of Homs city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying machinegun-equipped vehicles. A series of sorties were carried out targeting ISIS positions in Palmyra (Tadmur) city 161km east of Homs city, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying some of their vehicles and military equipment.
Meanwhile in the countryside of Aleppo province, the Syrian Air Force carried out airstrikes on terrorist organizations’ hideouts and fortified positions in the countryside.
In northwestern countryside of Hama province, army units, backed by the air force, established full control over al-Sefsafeh village  after inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists in personnel and equipment.
Elsewhere in the eastern countryside of Daraa province, Syrian forces  killed members of al-Nusra Front terrorist group at the eastern side of al-Nuaimeh center.
In a related development in Lattakia province, Syrian forces seized 3 field hospitals and scores of terrorists’ redoubts including a DSHK machinegun, home-made “hell canons”, 5 mortars, 20 gas cylinders prepared for bombing during combing the hills surrounding Jeb al-Zaarour and al-Fark mountain.
Large amounts of explosives, different ammunition, Turkish and stolen medicine in addition to a quantity of Cocaine were also seized.
Other reports say that on Wednesday and Thursday the Russian Air Force, in cooperation with Syrian Air Force, carried out 81 sorties targeting 260 terrorist positions in Aleppo, Damascus, Deir Ezzor, Idleb, Lattakia, Raqqa, Homs and Hama.
Military sources say that the airstrikes resulted in the destruction of 52 command centers, 12 ammo caches, a headquarter to repair military hardware, a workshop which terrorists were using for manufacturing explosive devices, 4 training camps, 26 fortified sites, mortar launchers, military equipment and 153 terrorists’ positions.
Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy for four and a half years. More than 250,000 have lost their lives and millions displaced as a result of the crisis in the war-torn Arab country. The Syrian government blames western countries especially the US and its regional allies including Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar of being the main supporters of terrorist groups in the country.
