Yemeni Forces Kill over 100 Saudi Mercenaries in Mokha

Alwaght- Yemeni forces have killed over 100 Saudi-paid mercenaries east of Mokha district of Taiz province of the war-torn country.

According to Yemeni news agency SABA, the Saudi mercenaries and their allies were killed when the army and popular forces fired a medium range Qaher M2 ballistic missile and a barrage of Katyusha rockets targeting enemy positions.

Yemeni military sources say the missiles hit the gatherings accurately, causing large causalities on the enemy.

Elsewhere, Yemeni army and popular forces shot dead a Saudi soldier and hit military sites inside the kingdom's provinces of Jizan and Asir provinces.

Military sources say Yemeni forces killed soldier in Al Faradhah site and bombed a Saudi military vehicle in Al Khawjarah military site of Al Tawal area in Jizan.

The artillery of the national forces shelled groups of Saudi troops in military sites of Al Abadiah, Al Dawkhan, Al Moqadabah Qa'am Zabid,Al Madan, Al Sawdanah, Al Tananah, Awjabah, Al Moanaqa and Al Mahtah Al Baidha, causing large losses upon the enemy. The missile forces hit Saudi soldiers' groups in Al Montazah, Arabah camps, Ayain Al Thawrain. AlShabakah, Al Jawazat and Al Qa'aum in Asir province, the official added.

For two years now, Yemen has borne the brunt of a brutal Saudi-led and US-backed aggression which has left over 12,000 Yemenis, mostly civilians including women and children killed. The Saudi regime launched its illegal aggression on Yemen to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore to power fugitive Abdul Rabuh Mansour Hadi who resigned and fled the country.

The Saudi military aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, mosques and factories. This illegal aggression has prompted retaliation from Yemeni forces including launching missile attacks on Saudi military installations in the country’s capital Riyadh.
